| Symphony has developed several PDQ (Pretty-darn-quick) frameworks using proven technology stacks that can be quickly deployed to save development time. These stacks follow industry standard architecture that not only allow for quick implementation, but provide the required flexibility for customization and the structure required for scalability. Symphony’s frameworks include:

| Symphony’s PDQmobile framework can be used to quickly develop and deploy wireless and mobile applications across several network providers and mobile client platforms. PDQmobile is an n-tier architecture that contains Microsoft.NET server component, coupled with Brew, J2ME and Symbian client-side libraries, location based service libraries, mash-ups, and a rich front end using Adobe Flex. Using PDQmobile, development teams can reduce effort up to 25% in systems design and development. This framework is provided free of cost to all our clients and serves as a major competitive advantage. |

The PDQweb2.0 is designed for web-based products focused on the mass customer. The framework can be used to quickly deploy portals, single-function web apps and applications that focus on user-generated content. The framework is ideally suited for low operational cost, low back-end overheads, quick development and high end-user “wow” factor. Technology stacks used in this framework include: LAMP (open source application stack) for code generation, web services, and XML maps; Open Access for data integration; Adobe Flex and Silverlight libraries for rich internet application front-end layer; Telerik and Dundas tools for customizable front-end skins; and specific objects for optimized session management, connection pool management and load management. The framework is designed to facilitate easy deployment into Amazon Web Services cloud, as well as Windows Azure. |

Leveraging the Microsoft Solutions framework, PDQEnterprise is Symphony’s solution framework to develop and deploy enterprise-level high transaction applications. The framework encompasses object libraries of .NET, Symphony’s custom objects and methods, Telerik control for front-end visualization, user interface objects in Silverlight, AD based security and access control, ADO.NET and XML for data and application integration, and SQL server 2008 stored procedures. PDQEnterprise follows a plug-n-play approach where multiple components, such as business process layer and semantic layer, can be easily added to enhance the functionality and ROI of the enterprise applications. Sure beats starting a project with a white board and a blank Visio document!

Originally designed to facilitate swift data migration and data warehouse deployment, PDQAnalytics now forms the backbone of Symphony’s end-to-end Business Intelligence. The BI framework is ideally suited for companies with data-rich environments who are looking to make sense of their data. PDQAnalytics can enable the development of BI apps that can help you look at information like never before. PDQ is technology agonistic and has the following stacks
- RIA : Data Visualization comprises of Silverlight and XCelsius libraries for interactive animated and drill down reporting.
- Domain ETL Layer comprises of industry specific ETL’s to decrease time to market. For example : Our PDQAnalytics for Healthcare contains ELT procedures to import claims, billing, lab, EMR, medication, eligibility, health risk assessments and transform them for severity adjustment, care gap analysis and PQRI reporting)
- Data Quality Manager includes standard quality and cleansing routines that Symphony has aggregated from numerous engagements.
- Master Data Management consists of algorithms developed on SQL Server 2008 SSAS, that can be ported to other applications. It can extract and maintain master data from complex data models
- Meta Data Management consists of meta data libraries that guides the data warehouse implementation process to implement effective metadata strategies. PDQAnalytics comes integrated with components that go through actual data and generate tags on the fly for easy query, search and data grouping.
- Data Governance layer consist of objects and libraries that can be easily customized for complex data ownership and governance as well as implement compliance and safeguards such as Anti-trust and required data suppression.
- Advanced Analytics consists of if-then and simulation algorithms that can be easily customized for specific requirements. In the Beta version, Symphony has also deployed social networking algorithm for data relationship visualization that is a major value add to fraud detection programs.
