Ravi K Kalla
Chief Executive Officer
Ravi Kalla is a noted entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Symphony. He has been instrumental in formulating strategic vision for the company and developing the culture of quality. He has 20 years of experience in strategic planning, sales and marketing, information technology, healthcare, environmental engineering and waste management. Ravi believes in employing a rigorous process to every aspect of the company's operations and projects to bring predictability, transparency and cost saving to his clients.
Prior to founding Symphony, Ravi also founded several successful companies, including Symphony Data Corporation, a leading-edge health care technology, process improvement and outsourcing services company. Symphony Data merged with Zavata, in February 2005 and is now part of Apollo Health Street. Ravi has invested and is actively involved in several cutting edge health care technology and service companies that provide healthcare analytics, telemedicine, wellness and chronic disease management tools. His portfolio of companies includes Strategic Health, Liazon Corporation, Health Unity, Qik, Symphony Care solutions, ProactiCare, Flip Swap, 411.ca , Iowa Waste Systems, and At-Scene applications.
Ravi served on the Wisconsin Governor's e-Health Care Quality and Patient Safety Board. The Board was created to develop a strategic plan for statewide adoption and exchange of electronic health records. He also serves on the board of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Western Wisconsin Chapter. He earned an M.S. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. |

Thomas Mack
Chief Operations Officer
Thomas Mack brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience in IT and professional services to Symphony as COO. Tom’s background includes leading and growing several IT companies through periods of transformational change. His responsibilities have included overseeing mergers and buy-outs, building professional service divisions, and developing long term strategic plans. Tom provides strategic leadership and manages corporate growth that delivers value to clients, employees, and shareholders. Prior to coming to Symphony Tom held executive positions with PDS, Entre, KMG Software and Vierbicher Associates. He has served on advisory boards for such companies and organizations as HP, Compaq, Lexmark, CompTIA, and Ingram Micro. Tom received a Masters of Sciences degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. |

Tom Zydel
Vice President, Business Development
Tom Zydel has over 30 years of experience in enterprise-level sales, sales management, and marketing, specializing in ERP applications, development tools and professional services. Prior to joining JGI, Tom was a co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of CS Strategies, Inc., a professional services firm specializing in delivering web-based and business intelligence solutions. Tom was Director of Eastern Region sales for ReportSmith Inc. There, he played an integral role on the management team that successfully brought one of the first Windows-based decision support products to market.
Prior to joining ReportSmith, Inc., Tom was Eastern Region Sales Manager for Viewpoint Systems, Inc., a provider of graphical interface development tools. There, he was responsible for managing reseller relationships throughout the Eastern United States. Tom also served as Regional Vice President of Sales for Information Science, Inc., a provider of mainframe-based Payroll and Human Resources application software. |

Ron Parton, MD, MPH
Chief Medical OfficerDr. Parton is responsible for steering the direction of Symphony’s products and service offerings in the healthcare sector. With over 20 years of operational experience, Dr. Ron Parton is a physician executive with a proven track record for improving quality and reducing medical costs. He is a strong innovative leader who has recruited and mentored nationally recognized staff and created environments for continued growth and success.
Dr. Parton has demonstrated leadership and significant experience in the following areas: strategic planning, development and operations; population health and chronic illness management; provider network management and risk contracting; business intelligence and clinical informatics; IPA & MSO management and operation; employer wellness and health promotion; clinical decision support and pay for performance; pharmaceutical management and operation; utilization review and complex case management; patient safety and quality measurement; evidence based guidelines; and technology assessment. Dr. Parton has worked in leading healthcare organizations such as Physicians Plus, Iowa Health System, Health Plus, Health Net and Aetna. Dr. Parton graduated from the University of Washington with an MPH in 1988, from University of Iowa with an MD in 1983 and an honors degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1979. |

Subbu Ravi Vice President Solutions
Subbu has been instrumental in developing the company's global delivery model, developing the healthcare practice and maturing the process to transform concepts to viable business entities. He has helped clients across the healthcare industry manage a vast array of issues from ICD-10 and Business Intelligence to population health and clinical integration. He has over 17 years of experience in information technology management, business process optimization, product development, strategic planning and outsourcing. Subbu drives the delivery function with a sharp focus on process, and is responsible for the company's compliance with mature processes like Six Sigma, CMMi Level IV and ISO.
In addition to overseeing Symphony's long standing strategic relationships with partners such as SAS, Deloitte and Microsoft, is also directing the company's go-to-market strategies for its rapidly growing footprint in the post-reform healthcare industry, transformation of business using mobile technologies, and Symphony's emerging presence in Asia.
Prior to joining Symphony in 2001, Subbu worked in strategic and operations capacities at Rediff.com, Indiainfo.com and Tata Interactive Systems. Subbu started his career with JWT's FULCRUM division that was responsible for the centralized media buying for Unilever in India. He received his MBA in Marketing & Information Systems and a Bachelor degree in Applied Sciences with emphasis on Operations Research. |

Jay Weiss
Practice Leader – Business Intelligence
Jay has spent the bulk of his career as a Management Consultant. During his consulting career, Jay has held senior positions at the major international consulting firms A.T. Kearney and Coopers & Lybrand. He is an expert in strategic and business planning, financial management, cost management and performance management. Prior to JGI, Jay was a Founder and Managing Director of Skyline Equity Advisers, Ltd., an investment banking boutique dedicated to providing middle-market business owners with M&A advisory services. Mr. Weiss began his business career at J. Crew, the clothing manufacturer and retailer, where he was responsible for all financial planning and helped launch their retail operations. He received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Princeton University and an MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College. |

Ken Ridell
Sr. practice leader – ERP
A Senior Practice Director with over 20 years of experience performing and managing Strategy, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and Systems Development projects specializing in human resource/payroll and financial systems. Ken has an outstanding track record in the selling, managing and delivering of consulting services. Ken joined JGI in 1995 to develop and run an ADP-focused division called HR21. That division is one of JGI most successful practices, and today HR21 is one of ADP's Premier Service Partners. |
